RECERTIFICATION

Certification as a Lifestyle Medicine Specialist is valid for a period of ten (10) years. To maintain the credential, the physician must either successfully retake and pass the Certifying Examination or fulfill the recertification requirements in effect at the 3-year interval, as determined by the certifying body. Within this timeframe, physicians are expected to demonstrate continued proficiency and active engagement in the field. To maintain certification, specialists must meet the requirements as determined by the certifying body. This revalidation process ensures that certified professionals remain up-to-date with emerging evidence, standards, and best practices in lifestyle medicine, ultimately enhancing the quality of care provided to patients
